Apparel Vendor Collaboration Online Training is now available on WorkdayLearn

The recorded Zoom training session is now available to watch on-demand in WorkdayLearn

With the Wave 1 go-live of Apparel Vendor Collaboration happening later this month, we now have the recorded Zoom training session available on WorkdayLearn !

Apparel Tech Design, Tech Development and Product Development teammates that did not complete the live training in November received an assignment to complete this online course in WorkdayLearn by the deadline of December 12, 2025. This is to prepare for go-live on Monday, December 15.

Please note: For learners with the assignment, this training will only be marked complete on your learning transcript once the entire video is viewed.

A huge shoutout to our teammates, Dana Denenberg and Niles (Jessica Niles) for delivering engaging and informative sessions for our teams multiple times throughout the month!

This online course will continue to be housed in the Course Catalog for future reference.

Apparel Vendor Collaboration is coming! See the available resources, training, and support channels

AP Vendor Collaboration is coming and will provide T1 partners with PCX, CLO Plug In, and Aurora Web access to directly view, edit, and share data. Training kicked off this week and we have many resources for teams to reference to ensure success of this pivotal product development process. Wave 1 Go-Live is scheduled for December 15, 2025!

Olive Street Week Highlights

Olive Street Week [October 13-16] featured in-house experts, insightful discussions, community-inclusive experiences, and a very special appearance from The Greatest Showman!

October 13th - 16th, Olive Street Studio is hosting a week of Technical Design learning and fun featuring some of our friends from Apparel Development.

Each day (Monday through Thursday), we’ll host three in-person only sessions on different topics. Attendees, bring your questions, suggestions, and inspiration!

Each session is capped at 20 participants. The links to sign up will go out on Tuesday, October 7 ^th .

Pattern and Fit Foundations

The week of October 20 ^th , Dr. Trautman is leading an encore of Pattern and Fit Foundations (with a Zoom Pre-Course on Friday, October 17 ^th ). This course focuses on knit tops and raglan sleeve variations.

In this course, attendees will:

Improve their foundational understanding of garment engineering
Examine fit and pattern excellence through a Nike lens
Share a fit issue or proto problem from their team

You can request a spot in this course when sign-ups open on October 7 ^th . After submitting a request, we’ll begin filling seats on a first come, first served basis. You’ll receive an official invite after your seat has been confirmed.

Stretched Into Shape

At Nike, knits are necessary! In this session, Dr. Trautman will review foundational information about cut and sew knits including industry tools and resources. Lead Technical Designer, Suzanne Gray will share original Nike resources and tools she has created for our teams.

Going from a block to a successful sample.

Learning how to use a Knit Rule (yeah, there’s a ruler for knits!).

The Technical Design Studio is for teammates who’d like support with a specific garment or other technical design issue. Have a proto that struggled on the road to approval? Fancy or functional, pants can be tricky to evaluate and fit. In this session, Dr. Trautman will review her steps to evaluate a factory prototype. Lead Technical Designer, Jessica Niles will share her experience fitting pants at Nike.

Do you have questions about wovens? In this session we’ll explore critical things to know about making garments in woven materials with a special focus on shirtmaking.

Reverse Engineering Patterns

There are several approaches to creating a production-ready pattern from a sewn garment. Sometimes, the best results can only be achieved by using multiple approaches for one garment. Senior Technical Designer, Griselda Chavez will review and demonstrate her process for reverse engineering patterns from a sewn garment while Dr. Trautman shares what you need to know to copy a garment successfully.
